I'm sick and tired of people judging people by their physical appearance other than their personality.

Right now i have just graduated from college and i can't seem to get a job for what i have studied. My mom she isn't supporting me at all nor all my family members. All they do is to judge me saying that i'm useless that i can't even find a job and that i have wasted time and money. I feel horrible to almost just kill myself or hide somewhere.

@kitsuemi You don't need that kind of treatment. Suicide is never the answer. Hurting yourself is just letting your bullies (Aka your family) know they hurt you. They won't stop doing it till you look like the perfect poster child. If you are happy w/how you look, then don't let them dictate what you do or don't do with your body. If they don't like it. Fuck'em. There are plenty of other ppl who will accept you for who you are.

I know how you feel. I'm being judged by my mom over my weight, she intentionally compares me to other pretty and skinny girls. I hated her about that, I mean doesn't she know how much the words from her could hurt me? People love to judge others by their expectations. Be who you are, and ignore them, ignore those who put you down and they will learn their lesson.

@kitsuemi do you tell your mom that it hurts when she compares you to other girls? You need to let her know that she is your mother and putting you down like won't do anything but lower your self esteem.

Everyone judges, it is human nature. Some people who judge, use it in a positive way, like "oh you look very pretty." when someone calls a person "pretty." they are judging them by what they are wearing or how they have their make up. Others use it in a negative sense.

Yes i have plenty of times. I keep on telling her that but she still doesn't seem to stop it. I feel like shutting myself down and ignoring her completely. It really hurts when someone who is close to you do not understand you.
