The Netherlands: South City

Wiel Arets discusses the future of the Netherlands, the possibilities surrounding the 'South City (Zuidstad) model of planning, which can be compared to that of the Randstaad in the west of the Netherlands, and North City in the north of the country, composed of Groningen and the immediate surrounding cities, and states his ideas regarding how these areas of the country can become better connected to the rest of Europe and the world, through the means of transportation, taxation, education, urban planning and architecture.
