@nickgringo basically, To Martins is speaking of the pain of his mother having to leave him in the village to work in the city, the song says mama you left your kutelu(village) for praia, mama the world needs you, nevermind your child, they said there is no cure, the world has spoken, mama i'm not crying the tears are not coming, mama it just missing you/The song is about pain poor children who miss their mother's who leave them to go work in the city, i.e. to be a maid
