i am having such a horrible time creating logos on gimp than as i do on PS. the selection tools like lasso on gimp are not helpful at all and i dont know how to edit the logo/text presets gimp has and how to cut out pictures. please help?

@Zeekerton When cutting out pictures, if you're trying to cut out a specific object, you want to use the "Path's Tool'. Doing this is very time consuming if you want it to turn out better in the end. Now about the other things. Do you have a Skype?

Im usually really good with computers but it just wont work when I try to download it... it says windows cant open this file when i download it
