  • Deus ex...one of those games you should actually pay attention to most of the dialog, since it means allot within the real world.

Also...those NSF troops used to be warriors of freedom, but then they took an arrow to their knee

  • @Wharwulif At the games conclusion (or way before that) you know the NSF - who you slaughtered unless playing a stealth game, are actually the good guys - the really clever thing is that all the NSF comments you hear tells you they are foot soldiers to a cause against the government based on Govt control Money Taxes- they actually don't know about the true conspiracy - the grey death even if Levedev does ....playing this game as a shooter is fun but playing it with a moral dimension is better

  • @leslondon I wish I could go back to 2000 and play this for the first time read all the newspapers emails etc and play it stealthily - but I can't - he he -took me about 10 attempts to get off the North docks when I first played and I did not like those NSF who kept killing me!

  • its a Republic, not democracy, Denton.

  • @NWKklown The NSF have a line on numbers from early in the game they seem to be fighting for the common man - taxes etc - like they dont know the real threat - the grey death .....I hate taking the NSF out but I always release the prisoner from the prison and see him safe " It's ok JC I can make it on my own from here"

  • the system that currently exists in theory could work, but people with power are abusing it/taking advantage of their position with-in the system. If only the power that has been provided to the people of our society was stronger. We could all work together and make things right.

  • @jimmyboy2021 Amazing thing is this game and its dialogue hits a few nerves and makes people think

  • The NSF guy has a point. Taxes should be purely for paying the bill of running society, not to tell people what's bad and what's good.

  • @leslondon I always take the Non-lethal way, because killing is stupid-and this is exactly the reason why...you just might have made a Very Very huge mistake, and overall-"We are the police".

I play every game with a Moral dimension...Well,I tend not to bother much with games that lack any freedom of choice with this matter-and puts you on a way that might be morality bad.

Yes,they were eventually very unaware of the Greater plot, but the smaller plot is still very important...because it's origin.

  • @kaziqbal You think your tax is high? Welcome to Norway.

  • @truth533ker

I'd prefer the option of picking up the flag and jamming it into Simons' chest. That would save a lot of trouble down the road.
