These are my predictions for the upcoming UFC On Fox 2 Evans vs. Davis event.
Former Light Heavy Weight Champions "Suga" Rashad Evans meets undefeated Phil "Mr. Wonderful" Davis, in a fight that is expected to determine the next contender for Jon Jones's title.
In the co-main event Chael Sonnen (originally to face Mark Munoz) and Michael "The Count" Bisping square off for a shot at the Middle Weight belt.
Also on the main card, Jui Jitsu specialist Demian Maia takes on underdog Chris Weidman in a Middle Weight face off.

  • Lets limb on this HFC my friend. Chael's striking against Yushin Okami and Anderson Silva ( two fighters better than Bisping has ever faced) looked better than Bisping's striking against FAR Lesser fighters and strikers in Jorge Rivera, Mayhem Miller( until he gassed) and so on. I think it's ignorant people pretending Chael has bad striking or lesser striking just because he abuses his grappling and takedowns.

  • @TreyMMA Oh Yeah, Chael has some pretty good hands. But we know this fight isn't staying on the feet. Chael will strike long enough to get Bisping to the ground where he will have a HUGE advantage.

  • @HFC11492 Chael actually throws great kicks also and his strikes in the clinch are very strong because of his strength and greco roman skills. I've never really seen Sonnen outstruck, I don't think Bisping holds a speed or power advantage standing and Chael's aggressiveness and ability to mix it up along with being so confident can overcome a lot of technical skills. Bisping is a 3 Time U.K Light Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion though, for those who don't know that.

  • @TreyMMA The only reason Bisping has an advantage on the feet in my opinion is he has better technical striking. He has a good chance to stick and move (similar to the Leben fight) and outpoint Chael. I do not believe this will happen cause Sonnen will be way to aggressive and have him in the clinch or on his back for the entire fight.

  • Good picks, only discrepancies i noticed were when you talked about Rashad.. you said he "outstruck Rampage...and Thiago Silva"...?! If you really watched those fights he took both those guys to the mat and did some Lay 'n Pray towards a decision. And as I recall, Thiago Silva actually dropped Evans late in the 3rd rd, but gave Rashad time to recover and it was too little too late. Overall though, good picks that I agree with.

  • @pinoyco09 Rashad may have gotten dropped by both Silva and Rampage. But he did outstrike them for the majority of the fight. And this is coming from a guy who isn't a Rashad fan at all! Regardless, Davis doesn't have the hands or power to hang with Rashad on the feet.

  • @HFC11492 when I said outstrike I meant more significant strikes. Neither Silva or Rampage were outclassed on the feet by Rashad. It only looks like that on paper bcuz Rashad used strikes to take it to the ground and landed most of his strikes there.

And I never said Phil Davis was gonna be able to beat Rashad. I was just telling you I disagree with the info you put up. I had rashad winning by KO. Check my picks at tapology.com ,username: jitzFANatik808

  • @HFC11492 I don't think Bisping has an advantage standing, nobody understands this sport Cosmo Alexander and KJ Noons were outstruck at 155lbs in MMA, KJ Noons actually kind of sucks and would get slaughtered standing by many and hes 14-2kickboxer, 11-2pro boxer and a world games gold medalist in Karate. Cosmo was a Muay thai and Kickboxing world champion several times and he lost to an 0-0 fightrwho was confident enough to keep it standing. What is technical? this isn't boxing whats your basis?

  • @HFC11492 I think if Sonnen chose to stand he could certainly win a decision going toe to toe and keeping it off the mat. It may be more competitive, but I don't think Sonnen has it in him to lose to Bisping, I really don't.
