The Candy Twins - Zoe, aged 25 (acoustic demo)

Did The Candy Twins get there before Fish of Marillion? We see from The Sun he's written a song called Zoe, 25. This song by Candy Twins' mainman David was posted on YouTube on July 11th 2007. Something fishy here perhaps? Maybe our lawyers ought to be informed? Zoe suddenly turned 25 after being 24 for an awfully long time. She did briefly then go back to 24. Her myspace has her as 26. Age is just a number after all.

Anyway the Farringdon gig was good - our best yet - and they've asked us back for another headline slot. Great tiny little venue, the basement of a v small pub opposite The Guardian newspaper.

It seems unlikely that Fish lifted this song, Candy Twins were formed in 2007 and didn't release their first limited release EP until 2007. 13th Star by Fish was released in 2007.

Now, it's not to say that it's impossible, just improbable.

I know a couple of years ago I played in a band with a specific name and we thought no one else would use it but I found out that some one had exactly the same name with the same spelling all the way across the country!
