Looking for a destination high in the Rocky Mountains where you can ride horses, hike and get in tune with nature? Than Estes Park, Colorado the place for you, with many people saying it is quintessential Colorado. With its close proximity to The Rocky Mountain National Park, the village of Estes Park has been a fan favorite for years. In addition to all the shopping downtown you can also do a little rock climbing next to Marys Lake. While you are in the area, you can park your RV at Marys Lake Campground and RV Park. A favorite activity in the area is a horseback ride into the beautiful back country at the Aspen Park. Estes Park, Colorado is truly the best place to get away from it all and get in tune with nature.

@Yetislayer43 No it wasnt filmed there. But it's the hotel that inspired Stephen King to write the book. It's supposedly haunted, but I didnt experience anything unsual while I visited. Wished I had, would have made for a neat experience.

@MrBadfish2 I don't understand how I am waisting any ones time, for I take my own time to comment and I am not waisting yours since you have taken your own time to comment back at me, now insulting me and making so sense since my comments are as detailed as I make them and anyone with common sense could take the time to figure out what I said. Any words you say past this are invalid for your argument is invalid as well. Good day to you.

@MrBadfish2 I wasn't mentioning Wyoming or Montana, just my thought on what you said about Estes. Nor was I talking about all of Colorado.

@SuperIntune
Visit Wyoming..and Montana, and you'll see the difference. Colorado is very privatized now. Montana and Wyoming took steps to prevent people from buying up everything so the public can use the land without "asking permission"

@MrBadfish2 Actually we go around all over the place, sure some people don't like seeing others in their yards, but most residence do not mind. Very friendly people, the ranges and mountains near town are open to climb from what I've learned.
