  • @TrentmanX: Oh, that's quite interesting, I've heard about Club Deportivo Guadalajara from the Copa Libertadores! We have the same good taste I guess! "Las Chivas", that sounds very nice to me ;) Our team is known as "Die Geißböcke" because in 1950, the goat was given the club at a carnival session. Unfortunately, we're not as successful as Chivas, our "good times" can be found in the 60s (1st Bundesliga champion!) and 70s. Anyway, we're the most faithful fans in the Bundesliga!

  • @leckherchen: Thanks for your reply leckherchen, I had never heard of the Cologne dialect before, I thought the song was in was German. Hennes is what made me interested in researching about Köln FC, because here in Mexico we have a football team called Club Deportivo Guadalajara, known as "Las Chivas" (Spanish), "the Goats". Chivas is the team I support and I see several similarities between it and the FC Köln, almost the same colors, Red and White, except that Chivas has Blue instead of Black.

  • Dem FC hoffnungslos verfallen! ;)

@TrentmanX: Thank you very much! It's a song about the love to the 1. Football-Club Cologne (German Bundesliga) hold in the Cologne dialect. Once FC - forever FC, which means both in good and in bad times! And about the club's living mascot, the billy goat "Hennes", who shall bring good luck to the club.

Hope I've helped you a little bit. Greetings to our fan in Mexico! ;-)

  • Quisiera saber Alemán para poder entender esta canción, está bellísima.

I wish I knew German so I could understand this song, it's beautiful.
