All I would say is that the conservatives will have no less than 25 out LGBT people running for parliament, and its only going to rise as more people get selected for 2010.
I wouldn't be in a party that did not support me, yes it has a way to go regarding proving itself, but you have to remember the last time the party was in power peoples views on LGBT rights in the UK we're different on mass.
If it was not for the LGBT members of the conservative party it would not run properly. haha

I'm a Gay Conservative and think that the people in the crowd should be ashamed of themselves.

I'm not completely up to speed on UK politics, but from what I understand, the Conservatives have a way to go before they can be trusted on equality issues.
The Labour speaker was soundly booed too, so who knows?!
