Madden 09 Tips #6 Disguising Screen Passes

I did this in practice mode vs the CPU on All-Madden.

You can find the FL Screen in many playbooks in the Shotgun Normal or Gun Doubles formation. I showed it in the New England Playbook. You can find the Rollout Screen in very few playbooks in the Fullhouse Weak or Fullhouse Strong formations. I showed it in the Run and Gun playbook.

I noticed that this works very easily & is a good way to disguise your plays, but the D# is playing Zone, of course your gonna get the ball to the reciever.

Wat about in Man coverage? cuz the DBs will stick to their man & its sumwat difficult wrkin Screens while the Ds in Man Coverage

Man coverage is more difficult, but usually a lineman will pick up the CB that is in man coverage on the reciever you are throwing the screen to, so the play will still be effective. But occasionally the CB will just stand in front of the WR in man coverage and intercept the ball, you gotta watch out for that.

how you keep the play and switch the formation? i got ps3. i don't think you can switch up the formation without audibling to a different play, but you can switch plays within the same formation. So do i have to set different audibles that have the same formation as a screen?

you are audibling to FL Screen, so you have to have it in your audibles

this takes to long to do in an online game it runs off 15 seconds and you will probably have about 12 seconds to do all these moves.. it would probably cost you a delay of game unless you were in a hurry up with the proper audibles set up

This will not work if you noticed on the video defense did not shift they have to shift thats the only way you can get yards if they do not shift. And if i knew you was that smart i would just check on the widest WR with a linemen cuz i know your QB cannot run.
