@AmosPressley hahaha. you're hilarious.

@AmosPressley I think it's funny that you're a fan of Beethoven. I don't necessarily like this piece - yet :P - but my reasons are very similar to those that led to dismissal of Beethoven's later and greater works as 'noise'.

Like grasping at straws with a fork.

Really, what's the point of posting comments about how little you like it? I don't like a lot of kinds of music, but I'm not going to waste my time or anyone else's by picking arguments online with people who do. And I certainly am not going to argue about what elements God created for us to use in music. The tempered scale, for instance, that's an interesting thought. It's so hard to hear this underrated composer, why ruin our enjoyment of it? If Bach were alive now, he'd love this stuff!

heinz hollinger is really underrated, probably because he's such an accomplished oboist. great piece.

by the way, excellent performance!!!

I'm still astonished by people that insists that they can judge what they don´t know or understand...and even worst, they condemn those things...a real pitty

If ou wish to play the game, be my guest. I will maintain that the emperor has no clothes and stick with Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Sibelius, Saint Sean, Handel, etc.
hhmm always hard to talk about things when you do not understand , be in peace also m eans accepting others things and not judging because of not understanding . the piece has rhthym , harmony and melody , as once said open your ears listen to modern music not once for years and you will be delighted
