I want that G7 performance capo.

too bad i can't really do the pencil capo, the fretboard of my acoustic guitar is a bit rounded. . . :(
-
ahah I used to to that capo with the pencil

I've used a G7th on a banjo and found that the sound was choked out and didn't ring long. Switched to a shubb and the problem disapeared. I thought it was my banjo. I went 2 years before I figured this out. The only thing that I can see is that the shub has a harder surface applying pressure on the fretboard than the G7th.

Thank you for the video. I was going to buy a capo to play just one song, but now I am going to make me one. ;)

so i'll buy pencil
Let me actually ask you a question, I have the adjustable planet waves capo that I believe you demo'd second, but I feel on my steel string guitar it doesn't always sound as good as I would want, and some strings buzz from time to time. Do you think that the G7th capo fixes any of those problems?

@guitarsteve6190 I don't know. I suggest you take it to a music store that has the G7th capo and ask if you can try it with your guitar in the store. Then you can find out before investing in one.

hahah i love your pencil capo! I've definitely been in situations where I didn't have a capo around and that would have saved me!

@guitarsteve6190 Yes... I came up with the idea out of dire need. Was performing at a gig and forgot to bring a capo. It worked perfectly and I could keep all the arrangements that fit my voice.

THe best capos are the Mckenny Capos (spelling *** lol). But they cost around $100. But they are wide enough to put on any fret of your guitar, plus, they are so well made, NO fret buzzes. I have one. They are amazing. Thanks
