Another great song from "The Kick Inside". This was also the b-side of the "Wuthering Heights" single.

Love this song... one of at least a dozen greats on the Kick Inside. :)

The way I see it, "Kite" is about the silly but apparently inherent human tendency to assume that the grass is always greener on the other side... which of course it isn't, hence the ending.

Not exactly your average song material, but then again, this is Kate Bush we're talking about. ;)
