Patriot Act is subject of "Pattern of Conduct"

The internet has allowed for instantaneous communications globally. However, there are many savvy people who have the expertise to use the technology to their advantage. One of those is Big Time Law Enforcement. Most people associate identity theft with criminals who want to steal money. What if BTLE uses that information to incriminate? Make illegal purchases with your credit card? Open a bank account in your name and fill it with stolen money? Alter text of e-mails to include "threats" or "confessions" or merely to sound "delusional" or unintelligible to those that read them? Electronic communications will prove to have many flaww, as the world economy becomes dependent on electronic transfers, and banks and government agencies find they have been hacked. Identity theft is only the most publicized flaw so far.
