Our Welsh Corgi "Bootsie" brings in the cows with a little help from "Dub" the border collie. Boots spent 6 months at the working dog trainer because she loved to work so much we couldn't keep her out of the cows.
So now she gets to work with the big dogs. Sometimes when the gather is further out, she rides on the saddle with me and then I drop her off to bring 'em in.
Very nice little corgi...they are more cattle dogs than BC's so nice to see one getting a chance to do its job! Very nice working dog.

Thanks ya'll! Love seeing all your comments! Bootsie has a ton of desire and will chew through her line to get in on the action! When we go on bigger gathers, her little legs need some help, so she rides on my horse with me and then I drop her off when we're near the stock and it's time to go to work.
She was trained by an incredible trainer in Grass Valley, California.

Bootsie has the Corgi 'Come on, I have other things to do' attitue when herding. The Border Collie seems to have a detailed plan on where and how the cows are to go. A perfect match for each other.

Awww, Bootsie! So cute, I love my Corgi girl. Does yours also herd ducks, bugs, dogs, cats, birds, people, children and other Corgis just like mine does? :)
