@TonZijlstra very interesting... thanks for the answer.

@TonZijlstra i don´t know friend, I believe that the powder already has all the components to coalesce ... all that the printer cartridge needs is a chemical element that generates a reaction in the powder ... the same principe like a solidification of cement.

Thanks for sharing this video...this is incredible technology!!

As unbelievably awesome as this is I can see the good and the bad to it. One has to wonder as the technology developed and is fine tuned how long it will be before this is adopted by the manufacturing industry. Why pay someone to assemble it when you can just have it printed. To me it would seem to be a natural progression.

This liquid is used at the end of the process would be water or some type of sealer?

@videos12344444444 What comes out of the printer is still very brittle, so the liquid at the end is used to fixate the print. In the vid a quick drying superglue is used.

Supercool. How do you print in several colors. Does that require several kinds of powder? How do you make sure that the powders don't mix.?

hi anotherelvis. It's just one white powder. The printing is done with regular ink jet print heads and ink containers. The color comes from regular ink containers. One of the containers is filled with a sort of glue, and that is what prints the structure.
The way the printing works is:
you spread out a layer of white powder
the print heads put glue and color in the right places
you spread out the next layer of white powder
each layer is about a tenth of a millimeter.
