Annotations complete.

My run kinda sucked at the end, =_= but i just want to get across the basics to a run cycle from the front and how you can go about planning one yourself. Experiment and make your own run unique!

Most importantly, refer to the 4 legged run cycle i did earlier at a side angle as most of the principles for a run are there. This video is just to help translate that to a front view.

Need reference from live animals? http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=6F0A629072D3326A

  • Could you do a walk?

  • @GrovyleFan1995

    I am already working on a walk guide. =)

  • This helped ALOT! Thank you!

    But... um.... would you think about a back cycle?

    Like running away?

  • @Voidspirits

    @Voidspirits

    Back run is the same as this but reverse the movement of the feet and apply it to the back legs first. Remember, the back legs will hit the ground first though, refer to the side run guide for more on how the front and back legs move in relation to each other.

  • wow! this really helps me alot^^

    but if it is okey for me to ask..... could you make a vid of how you animate dragons? cuze dragons are really hard to animate^^;

  • @drajk23

    I'm working on a fly cycle guide as we speak. As Dragons are fictional creatures, there is no definitive way they move. Look up the anatomy and behaviours of real creatures that closeley resemble how you want your dragon to move.

  • Disney's next top animator!! :)

  • I love the way you made it show one part at a time, this was really helpful!

  • Woah , this is pretty helpful. Thanks for this dude, I seriously appreciate it, and I love the fact that you make it bob , because it's sort of annoying when you see an animation and none of the body is moving, just the head and legs.

  • @DarkmaneTheWerewolf Awesome! I need a reference for a video intro I'm making. Thanks :D
