Brooke wears wedding gowns, receives a ring, reads a letter from Edmund. AMC, All My Children, 1993

Brooke tries on wedding gowns and Dixie walks in (what a surprise, not!). Tad sweetly presents her with an engagement ring. She then goes home and reads a very moving farewell letter from Edmund (split infinitives, sobbb...).

The scene where she reads the letter is one that Julia, in my opinion, hits it out of the ballpark. How could you not scream at Brooke to go with her instincts and run to Edmund?! And, the classic, patented waterworks are on full display with a perfect tear falling from an eyelash; how does she do it?
