Byron Goggin and the Wild Weekend Adventure crew discover one of the United States largest mountain bike races. Held every year in Traverse City, MI you have to sign up a year in advance to be able to ride. For More information: WildWeekendTV.com
I did Iceman 4 (1993 3" snow) and 5 (1994 no snow) when I was at the AirSta (and working part time at Grand Traverse Cycles). It was great fun. I still have the shirt from 5.
Love to run it again now that I've got many more years of riding under my belt and live in VT. The VASA trails would probably feel like a slightly sandy bike path compared to the rooty, rocky and long climbs we have out here. Darn lottery. Makes trying to go with a buddy very difficult. Hey, Mokie, can I crash with you?
