  • Excellent!

  • Richter was famous for his immense dynamic range..

    He could play the most tender pianisimo and the most powerful forte, all with a great sense of tone..

  • One of the "Half - Gods" of the piano technique and his storm inside, it's so beautiful that he left us his marks :-) Oh, also one of the best Cadenza's ever on this concerto...

  • Indeed Richter is light and is singing as well the phrases!

  • @mrcmrc1000 The cadenza starts at 2.27 min;

  • could somebody point out, where the cadenza is? thanks

  • who wrote this kadenz?

  • @quinto34 Well said.

  • I´ve never know Richter could be soo slowly and nearly smooth !!! All that I heard from him is filled with such power and strength !

  • Richter plays Beethoven's Cadenza's wonderfully!
