Sharks & Stingrays - Moorea underwater series

I shot this vid during a boat tour around the Moorea Island (near Tahiti, French Polynesia), during vacations. We had made a stop to see and touch the stingrays and also to see the sharks, while our guide and pilot of the boat was giving them some treats. We all had snorkels, so I was able to go underwater and shoot pics and vids among them. I was not behind a glass, I was right by their side, using my snorkel. The guide told us that the sharks (black-tipped) were not supposed to be agressive to people, so I took my chances. I do not regret, it was awesome! It's my best souvenir of the sea during these days at Moorea and Tahiti.

That looks like the sand bar just west of Opunoho Bay. It's about 300 yards off shore close to the Intercontinental Hotel. The sharks are very friendly.

At the sea, somewhere around this island called Moorea, near Tahiti, French Polynesia. I don't know exactly the point cause we were making a boat tour and this was a stop made by the guide, who knows the place very well and that we could find the stingrays and sharks in there.

Great to see those wonderful sharks and Stingrays again. We have just returned from Moorea and Bora Bora and swimming with these animals was just awesome!! Infact swimming with them was the highlight of the whole 6 week cruise. For sure worth going back for. Thanks for the clip.
