I believe that the majority of the Cassie story is true. Her mother wrote a memoir about her and in it it said she only started believing in God a few weeks before the shooting. As for whether or not her life depending on her answer to a simple question...no one can know that for sure.

The poor martyrs .... I think the shooters were emo... but what pushed them to hate to much they would break and kill people? If you stand up for something and want to be a martyr... lets stand up for whats right and stop bullies from hurting others. Then maybe we wont have to see any more school shootings.

the story is more than this. look up about columbine shooting
its been proven by witnesses the story isnt true, the only person to witness cassie bernal get shot, has CONFIRMED that she was not asked anything about god. Its also believe that rachel was not asked either.
Its a heart warming tale, but its just not really what happened. The girls who did get asked if they believed in god, actually survived the shooting. its just a bunch of mixed up information

its true that rock and metal are some of the truest genres in music today. it seems that all mainstream talks about now is the typical-sex, drugs, money, and degrading women. aside from the message, rock and metal are just better overall!!!

What don't you understand about Cassie? Here is the story: Cassie was went through most of her life without Jesus. She got into some really bad stuff, the book explains it well. Then she went to a youth thing and Jesus came into her life! He totally changed her life. One day she went to school and that day they had a school shooting. One of the kids came up to her and asked her if she believed in God and she said yes. So she was shot and died for Jesus. You are never guaranteed tomorrow.
