Part 1 of 2: In this video I show how to remove the door panel from my 2002 Dodge Intrepid SE. I am removing this door panel to replace my power mirror switch that had been broken. If you have any question, leave a comment. Thanks for watching!

  • Thank you. I needed to replace the side mirror and I had to remove the door panel to get at, disconnect the old power-mirror power cord and connect the new one. I could not have done it without your helpful, instructional video.

  • @gplomb That is awesome, and thank you for the comment! I am glad the video helped, and this is one reason I made it. I was in your situation, and could not find any helpful information out there, so I decided to make my own video. I have since sold my Intrepid...but I miss that car, it was alot of fun to drive! Thanks again for watching and for the comment, I am glad you were able to fix your side mirror.

  • I will be careful on that TexasCoder. One question, I´m gonna have to remove the body side molding to work on one particular dent, I´m assuming those modings are placed with adhesive. Is that right? Appreciate your time. THANK YOU AGAIN!

  • @chevy362000 Your very welcome, I am glad the video helps. As for the moldings, I am not 100% sure, but I believe it is just tape holding it on. I have not pulled any of the molding off mine, but when you pull it off let me know how it goes, I am curious to know how it is attached.

  • Than you so much this is awesome, today I will remove my sister´s intrepid door panel to do some bodykork. This comes super handy!!

  • @chevy362000 Thanks for the comment! It's not too bad to take the panel off, just watch out for the interior door latch, it gets brittle and tends to want to break when removing it. Other than that, it was a pretty easy job. Thanks again for watching!

  • I guess I got lucky, I didnt have to remove the molding, the dent came out really well just some cosmetic touch, but not where the side molding is, even though was extremely close. I can tell you that to me those moldings are attached with adhesive, cuz from the inside the door, I didnt see any kind of rivets or anything. Ok it is time for me to apply some primer, have a nice day! TexasCoder keep up the good work and great videos!!!
