Enter and drive Prius with Smart Key in less than 10 seconds

From the time I opened the door to the point the car start moving (after shifting into D) is less than 10 seconds. I did this while holding a camera and this is my first try. I know I can do faster.

I can do that in my diesel car, even set the satnav and put the radio on, so "no", it wasn't fast!

is it that it wont go unless u fastened ur seat belt???

I can drive away without wearing the seatbelt. It will beep and continue to beep faster and then stop after about 30 seconds. Yes it is annoying and the flashing light on the dash will not stop. All this was done to encourage using the seat belt. Of course, there is a way to program so it would not beep. I just keep it there for safety reminder.

I am glad someone likes the ZVW30 (2010) but I don't. I would love to have one like yours but the suspended arch from the dash to the center console, the energy monitor and consumption screens being moved from the touch screen LCD to a non touch screen VFD, and the lack of a seaside pearl color choice are all dealbreakers for me. IMO they should have added the new electronic features to the NHW20 instead of changing the interior so much.

Note, I have NHW20 (2006 model). I do like the open space feeling of it as well. However, ZVW30 was designed for everything within reach of the driver's right hand. This gives the feeling of more control to driver. EV/Eco/Power mode buttons are at reach. The drive-by-wire gear shifter can be in the right hand with instant access to B and N.

1997 Ford F350, 4x4, 6spd Manual(out of an 02 F350), 3.55 rear gears, Banks Power Pack, 3.5  inch strait pipes. It has 321,000 miles, all orginal except the performance parts.

My diesel Ford is a bit slower to start, but alot safer, faster, and can get comperable fuel milage(Ive gotten as much as 56, average around 20 when towing)
