Fighting Gems #18: The Bushido Blade Series

In regards to the Fighting Gems series, one user said that I was "full of hot air". That may be true, but I'm not out of steam yet - although this once a week thing has left me a bit winded.

In any case, that has noting to do with this episode, which covers two games that I hadn't even heard about until a few weeks ago - Bushido Blade and Bushido Blade 2. They're good games and original ones at that - honestly, I don't know why more pseudo-intellectual snobs aren't name-dropping them to make it look like they know more about fighting games than the average player.[/hypocriticalhumor]

Pros:
- Any fight can be finished with one well timed blow.

Cons:
- Any fight can be finished with one blow, which will cause scrubs to button mash.

The first game had a soundtrack done by Ridge Racer and Street Fighter EX composer Shinji Hosoe, which explains Arika being copyrighted in the game.

yeah i used to play this alot i hope square/enix releases the two games on psn or xbox live with online versus

Square-Enix put it up on the Japanese PSN, but I don't know if or when they'll do the same for the rest of the world.
