Chris Warkentin, MP for Peace River, rose in the House of Commons today to pay tribute to four Grande Prairie teenagers who died in a tragic car accident early Saturday morning.

Warkentin sent his thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims, the lone surviving occupant of the vehicle -- who is in critical condition -- and to the students and faculty of Grande Prairie Composite High School.

  • I went to school with Walter since grade 3 and we were never really that close but I had honestly never ever once the entire time I knew him, seen him without a smile on his face. RIP Walter.

  • RIP Warriors . Gone but never forgotten . <3

  • I went to GPCHS 25 years ago and can't begin to imagine what it would have been like if someone i knew much less a freind from school i knew whos life was snuffed out so horribly

I also knew someone who was killed in 1992 in downtown grande prairie from a drunk driving crash and all i can say is i hope those who do it and don't care because they don't think it can happen will wake up and realized what they are doing.

  • Its really sad :( I live in Grande Prairie also and I hope They rest in peace and hope that zach is going to be okay :(
