I have a serious question for you. Im supposed to be a 19D and i ship next summer, but they just received my transcript and im short o credits so i probably wont have this job and i have to go through thet process again. Which is a good thing for me because i want to be 11X but SOMEHOW i dont know why but it wasnt o the list of jobs i can get and im going to try and get it next time around. But how do you become a SAW gunner? do they randomly select people? Can you olunteer? or what

@Robicor1 Let me put it to you like this. Your second amendment DOES NOT just mean you can have a gun. It means you can own any weapon that can be used against you. Get a class III weapons permit and see for yourself. :)

my question is has there ever been an officer with an m249 this is probably a stupid question but i would like to know.... thanks for answering if anyone does

@LrAirsoft To my knowledge there has not. That's not to say an officer has never fired one, I'm sure they have, but they wont issue an officer a 249 as their individual weapon.
