Steepest road in the world to temple of Preah Vihear Cambodia

The newest steepest road in the world is the road to the Temple of Preah Vihear in Cambodia.
It has to be in parts 60% . My land Cruiser with only 4 people just pulled parts of it at full throttle in 1st gear would only get to 2000 RPM. If I stopped I would have to use low range to start going. If you keep moving its OK. Hard to show in photos and video. I been told there been several deaths of motorcycles losing there brakes and going off the side. The road is closed to most cars and all buses. At the top is the 1000 year old temple and lots of military I could not take photos of all the guns. And the crossing is closed to Thailand because of the fighting. They say its OK to come visit now with out getting shot. If your a tourist and don't want to die on this road rent a taxi don't take the motorcycles if your too cheep and do take the moto make sure it has working front disk brakes , Filmed and edited on location in Cambodia

@MotelCambodia I was lucky to visit when thigland was not shooting at us. I would hate to driven it when it was dirt and raining. there been lots killed on Motos on that road most lose brakes and fly over the side.

Fuck, that is steep, dude - reminds me of parts of Colombia and Ecuador!

yes it is I been on other roads that claim to be the steepest also and this road is 2 times steeper. And its a real road not a few meters long street ,,,its at least more then 10km or more to the top. I think Cambodia should call the gunis book of records to come out a certify it as the steepest, The only vehicles I saw up top was 4X4's

Hey dude yeah im australian dude,i went to Prasat Preah Vihear about two years ago when that road was still dirt and gravel, yeah its really steep, my friend fell off his motobike on the way down, cool to see someone else who has been there.
