The architecture and workmanship of these buildings is very impressive. Stone construction, TerraCotta roofs. This town predates the concept of a disposable society. Defnitely built to last. Sad to see it get left behind like this.

it's filled with atmosphere and it makes me feel so calm :)

To the major in Umbria, thinking in something like that and maybe could work!

I think so the towns Montelovesco, Montecorona, Pierle, Montemiciano are places rich resource for to study Italy camping culture, take nice pictures of antiques in general, could be towns giving lodging by low cost to people visiting Umbra. People looking for calm and nature habitats also, I hope somebody could make something like that.

why is it abandoned?

They are considered "abandoned" because most residents have left to seek better opportunities elsewhere; only a handful of old-timers stay on; at least one town has been completely bought up by foreigners. Thanks for your question.

Hi, Eric. Here's admiring your videos! For this one, maybe a poem or poems voiced over some parts would transform it from a "travel & places" piece to a film-poem. Just a suggestion. How are you? -- Mart Abueg in Manila
