update: i had all my samples on "stereo"
that's why i can only trigger 6 pads at a. time

when i press the pads(each pad has a sample of approx 1-2 sec. worth), they overlap each other, on the other hand, i notice that the maximum is 6 pads playing at the same time(2 or more sec. worth of samples on each pad), anything higher, one pad will be cut off. i hope this helps.

when you press the pads do they automatically cut each other off.. i.e. if you have your samples on pads 1-8 and each sample is like 2 seconds if you press 5 then 3 then 1 do to automatically cut each other off or do they overlap each other?
