Illinois team wins 2009 regional Rube Goldberg contest

A team from the Illinois Rube Goldberg Society at the University of Illinois won Saturday's (Feb. 21) 27th annual Purdue University regional Rube Goldberg Machine Contest, marking the first time a non-Purdue team has won the regional.The Illinois team now advances to the national competition March 28 at Purdue.

I made one of these machines in an art class in the 70s. Thought i was doing good keeping the ball moving for 40 second. U put me 2 shame.
