Great to see one of these Cold War jets flying again. I've only ever seen the one at Southend make a taxi run. Would love to see a EE Lightning flying one day but the CAA needs convincing first. Meanwhile Bruntingthorpe has to do.

LOL the tail, since when does the tail depict how good an aircraft looks, its a small part, stop been picky.. u sir EPIC FAIL... go troll else where

Sorry but we didn't talk about Hawker Typhoon it is pretty identical but when you look at the tail you will notice a ugly difference... And EEL is the ugliest thing that mans hand ever created don't be silly! And don't teach me about aircraft knowing because I saw what you can't even imagine! dj8work you are epic fail²!

sorry but i think ur taste sucks... and yes the English electric lightning is good looking... But this is how much u know about aircraft cause the tempest and typhoon are practically identical but u seem to think the typhoon is ugly... Mr Marintoss you are epic FAIL

To me they are ugly as hell! Like I said before SpitFire and Tempest are beautiful. OK EF-2000 isn't and that's why it is nice looking. Come on lad you really think that English electric lightning is nice looking ?? Then you don't have any taste at all... But that's just me. No offense.
