a nemi story episode eight [ trouble in paradise ]

the next day...

demi: *on the phone with selena* omg, it was great!
selena: i can tell that demi, haha. you sound soo happy.
demi: i am!
selena: *laughs*
demi: so what are you doing today? we have to hang out so that i can tell you about my date in person.
selena: haha, i know, i know! i can hang out later today.
demi: what are you doing now?
selena: i promise my mom that i would clean my room before doing anything else.
demi: haha, well that should be fun.
selena: *laughs sarcastically* haha, oh yeah. well i should go. bye!
demi: bye!

at the jonas house...

nick: *holding the phone and looking at it seriously*
joe: *walks up* i'm sorry nick but no matter how hard you concentrate you can't burn a hole in that thing.
nick: haha.
joe: so where were you last night?
nick: i was out with demi...
joe: oh, cool. where did you guys go?
nick: ...on a date.
joe: you went on a date... with demi?!
nick: yes...
joe: um, nick, HAVE YOU BROKEN UP WITH MILEY YET?!
nick: ...no.
joe: why not?!
nick: i don't know what to say!
joe: well, you better do it soon before demi finds out!
kevin: *walks up* what's going on?
joe: nick cheated on miley with demi but neither of them know what's going on!
kevin: what?! nick?!
nick: i know! i'm going to break up with miley. i just don't know how to do it, okay?!
joe: wow, demi is the other woman.
kevin: she wont like that...

the doorbell rings, and joe goes to answer it. kevin and nick are still argueing.

selena: hey joe! im just about to go hang out with dems, anyone want to come?
joe: ummm, sure, just hang on. *goes to talk to kevin and nick*
*selena overhears nick and kevin fighting*
selena: *to herself* nick CHEATED ON MILEY WITH DEMI?! *to the guys* UHHH NEVERMIND I HAVE TO GO, BYE!

selena runs off to demis house and leaves the confused boys.

selena: *runs up to demis room* DEMI! I HAVE TO TALK TO YOU!
demi: *opens her door and looks at her friend* what's going on?
selena: NICK AND MILEY AREN'T BROKEN UP.
demi: ...WHAT?!
selena: i know!!
demi: oh my gosh... *starts to cry*
selena: demi?! why are you crying? it's not your fault.
demi: no, selena, it is my fault... i should have known better. i shouldn't have fallen for him...
selena: oh my god. i am going to kill him. come on!!

selena drags demi over to the jonas' house.

selena: *knocks on door* NICK!!
kevin: *answers the door* what's going on?
selena: wheres nick?!
kevin: uh oh... uhh, NICK!
nick *comes up to the door with joe* demi, are you crying?! are you okay?
selena: no, she's not!
nick: let her talk!
selena: no!
nick: yes!
selena: no!
nick: yes!
joe: SHUT UP YOU TWO!
kevin: aggh, WHAT IS GOING ON?!
demi: *in a low voice* nick cheated on miley with me.
nick: oh... that.
selena: what do you mean, OH THAT ?!
kevin: nick, i still can't believe you were so stupid.
nick: demi... i'm sorry, i just didn't know how to tell you this...
demi: *cries harder*
joe: uh oh....

miley walks up to the door and smiles brightly at nick. she at demi with a confused look on her face.

miley: hey guys, whats going on...?
