@braaup check out lmctruck they have everything you need for the swap oil filter relocation headers mounts and all the parts for a ranger you can think of

@poschevy Stock till it blows.. Then upgrade to an 8.8 out of a v8 explorer!! 3.73 gears, limited slip, and 31 spline axels!!

@5DangerRanger0 How hard was it actually to get the motor in the ranger? As the oil filter, valve cover, header, oil pan, etc clearences and such? Run into any real problems? Did you have to fab up any of your own parts for thing??

what about the driveshaft?
i've started a 289 swap in my 87 and i'm worried that the driveshaft wont fit.
did you do anything to yours?

Yes once it was all done I took a measurement. Took it into a local shop and had them modify the stocker and beef it up.
