@annhend16 and i was gothic all through school.. i had a 98 average in school was never depressed and was an out going member of the church so gothic clothes and music doesnt make a child depress and kill themselves problems at home and depressed in first place does..my friend who was a typical chirstian killed herself because her dad beat her and she didnt wear goth and was a perfect lil christian do mroe research before badmotuhing a certain group of people

@MrGrky165 Century Child is the turning point of Nightwish's career. After CC they almost completely dropped their Power Metal roots and embraced more and more symphonic metal. Now days they are a carbon copy of Hans Zimmer but with guitars, double bass, and not nearly as much talent as Mr. Zimmer himself.

@wolfpackleader666 When we look at individual cases its hard to draw a connection between suicide and depressive music. However when looking at the big picture it does have some effect. Its the same case of copycat suicides when a celebrity dies. It sounds stupid if you look at an individual basis, but it actually does have a statistical significance. I'm not saying that depressive music should be banned (I'm a big fan of it), but don't undermine the effects of media on the subconsciousness.

@annhend16 Excuse me, miss. Not all sorts of metal are bad. There are songs like this one that are romantic and beautiful. And just because they dress in black doesnt mean they are evil people. If you've called this satanic, you're obviously deaf or something because that's the last thing Nightwish would do. Their music deals with childhood, romance and freedom. Do you hear ANYTHING satanic in this song? NO! Because there is NOTHING. Do more research before you speak again.

First of all, i dont want to be mad at you, i would just like to tell u a little story. I am the same age as your daughter and in this music i have found everything i adore. A bit of classic, fantasy lyrics, rock and wonderful melodies. Let your daughter explain to you why she listens to them!! I showed this band to my mother and explained the lyrics to her and guess what?? She understands me and even likes them herself..whenever my cds are missing, i know she is listning to them ;-)
