Hi Holly, I was really impressed with your new song. It was in my head today so I had to try and sing it myself. I didn't do a polished job with this cold that I have and I made a few lyrical errors but it was just to show my admiration for your songwriting ;) Well done!

THERE'S a good cover choice... props Kal... Holly always comes up with great melodies. Nice delivery... with a little polish, I think your resonant Annie-Lennox-esque vocal style would sound awesome... obviously a sharp contrast to her Eva-esque style, but it could still make for an amazing rendition. Rock on...

@Balboa515 Thanks, that's why I thought I'd try it, to hear the contrast in our voices :) I can do an Enya style voice as well but definitiely not with a cold, and I wanted to try it with a stronger vocal just to see how it would sound.

Wow, that's impressive! The song has only been out for a couple of days, and you nailed most of it in your performance in spite of the cold! Earlier, I was wondering what an acoustic version would sound like, :D

@AudacityRocks I haven't nailed it... haha I gave up trying to learn it properly last night because my instrument is blocked xD But I was in the mood to sing it so there is it. Just a compliment to Holly for her songwriting abilities really, that's all :)

Funny, as soon as the song went up on YouTube I suggested to Holly that it would sound better just voice+guitar. I really like your version a lot, I think you've brought out the qualities that are a bit masked in Holly's more 'pop' version. This style really gets across the emotions of the song. Room for polishing of course but basically great.
