He is beautiful ! My husband rescues cats near his work and brought home a white long haired cat (in very bad shape). His front left leg had to be amputated at the shoulder. It took a long time to get him in good health and all the knots out of his fur. When he was cleaned up we discovered he is a Turkish Angora (named him Lt. Dan from the Forrest Gump movie) it is amazing to see how well he gets around and is now a proud member of our family. Someone lost a very special guy.

beautiful! love oddeyed angora!
This boy is the true registered Turkish Angora which means he relatives are descents from Turkey. Not all white longhair cats are Turks and sometimes mistaken with the white persian cross. Please read the standards at CFA.org. He has the true single soft angora coat, tall ears and long slender body. He was only 5 mos old at the time not full coat. He was shown to Grand Champion level as an adult & sent to UK to a loving family after to help a breeding program. I retired now but still has his dad

@silverpurkat I didn't look at the video when I respond to the post as he is a lot younger. He did grow more coat when he was 10 mos old. They are slow to grow their coats but once they do it's a long fine hair especially the chest, back legs and tail where white persian cross has double thick coats that grow all over the body which is more prone to mats white Turkish Angoras have a single coat that does not matt.
