@chinners89 The bigger dogs are more useful due to their strength and durability. Thus they have been bred for intelligence, reliance and trainability in accordance to the needs of working dogs. ALL the other breeds considerd safe have not been bred for temperament, rather aesthetics. There was a case of a Chihuahua injuring a child that needed nearly 50 stitches, so they are a genuine danger. A Dobe is far more restrained, particularly under pressure. Of All big breeds I go Dobe.

to be quite hounest id leave a baby with a dog like this or rotweiler,shepperds etc bigger smarter dogs than those little rats of dogs like terriers shitzus etc the much more excitable dogs that do get jealous of kids and are retarded. to be hounest the bigger the dog the more secure id feel.
