Architecturally significant, sited on just over a half acre and oriented wide-view toward the Los Angeles basin. This masterfully designed contemporary home has a skyline view of downtown that is captured from all primary rooms. The periphery North is Malibu and to the South, the Los Angeles Harbor. With a lot that stretches street to street the location is private and discreet. The concept was to embrace the site by allowing the environment dictate design decisions; three stories envelope the vertical site showcasing the view with clean architectural lines, exposed structural steel and floor-to-ceiling glass. Geometric rooms with acute angles, radius windows and a polyhedron raised skylight make this residence a work of structural sculpture and art. Open interior spaces invite indoor/outdoor living for which the temperate Los Angeles climate is renowned. Locally; 'Trump's National Golf Club,' is just a Short Trip down the Hill to the Oceanside Par 71 Public Golf Course and 'Lowe's Terranea Resort'.

Architectural elements that define this home; the rotunda entry with a 9 ft. diameter faceted skylight dome that is 17 ft high, exposed steel beam construction, radius on-edge glass that raps seamlessly allowing light and nature inside, steel framed operable windows and doors...

Designed by Architect Joe Addo, who was involved in the restoration of the Watts Tower and heralded by the New York Times... "Showcase for the Emerging Voices of California Modern"... "captured all the drama of living in the hills of Los Angeles with a house in Palos Verdes whose glass walled rooms project into space."

Simple geometric form with structural elements as ornament... simplicity in execution with no reluctance for luxury.

Sliding shoji-screen panels that telescope to divide rooms, roof observation decks, exposed structural concrete interior walls... A living environment that combines Architecture and Art.
