hate to see this; drury is a hell of a player. the hit didn't look that bad, but glencross' elbow did look like it came up to drury's head, which is not cool, and usually fine-able--hence the league giving him a 3 game suspension

i love how he doesnt have the puck but yet glencross thinks its a good idea to blindside him wow shouldve gotten fined for this

@mikeusman101 you have obviously no idea whats going on in the play. Go watch a different sport you plug

@lambsanger I think you need to watch the video again, Drury is in a vulnerable position without the puck and Glencross takes a run at him. Drury did nothing wrong on the play and 99% of hockey players would have taken the same line Drury did. That's a standard breakout play your not going to look forward until you see that puck coming. I'm sorry you can't look in all directions at all times unless your Gumby.

@07GTSlo I don't think you realize that glencross was anticipating drury to get the puck, it was passed to him in his direction. Glencross was looking for the big hit, but drury missed the pass.
However, the hit wasn't a headshot at all since there was so contact towards the head. I'm under the impression that whatever happened to drury was caused by his fall to the ice. 2 min for interference tops.
