the magic fountains at Barcelona, throughout the winter these are on a Friday and Saturday night. (Summer nightly) They are free to watch and last for about 20 minutes. The fountains dance to music, make sure you wait just after the show as they do Barcelona by Freddy Mercury and Monsterrat Caballé which i love! To get to the fountains take the metro L1 or L3 to Placa Espanya and follow signs for Fira Montjuic.

Truly one of the most spectacular fountains I have every seen in my life. It is beautiful, and the entire avenue, beginning at the Plaza de Espana all the way up to the top of Montjuic is a fountain-lover's paradise. The Catalonian culture that assembled this magnificent display, along with the architectural jewels of Barcelona is magnificent.

thats good line to say 'the fountains dance to music' i saw it last week and was blown away. but didnt get to see it all cos my parents were 'tired' i wish i got to see the end cos i love freddy mercury and that barcelona tune.
