Antidepressants, School Shooters, & Suicide

The evidence is in. A small percentage of those taking antidepressants will become homocidal and/or suicidal. But a small percentage of 30,000,000 is more than hundreds of thousands of people in the U.S. alone! Though most of those people manage to get off the medications before acting on strong violent impulses, that's a lot of lives placed in jeapordy. And even if not common, too often, the result is tragic. Here's the topper: On average, these drugs barely work better than placebos in alleviating depression!!!

(Yes, they do seem to have dramatic impact on depression in SOME individuals. But if, on average, they are barely better than placebos, then the vast majority of users either get no benefit or the benefit of some must be offset by increasing problems in others. The result is that large studies show that, ON AVERAGE, the SSRIs are barely better than placebos, despite good results experienced by SOME people.)

i agree with you exercise works!! for depression.... so people stop being lazy and sitting around thats not gonna do you any good or get rid of your depression!!! Go exercise!!!! i mean exercise wont cure depresion but it helps you feel much better inside and out and it gives you lots of energy it also helps with anxiety... =)

My dad, being rational, and caring said he would rather a prescription for Medical Marijuana (Oregon). Of course the doctor laughed, and said "How about you try these drugs for a few months and let them work themselves in then come back".

We refused, left, I bought my weed from friends, no more insomnia. No suicidal thoughts, no chance of overdose, or addiction.

So these drugs are fine for kids, I had insomnia when I was a kid, my dad took me to a specialist because I could go 3 or 4 days without sleep. We went to the specialist after trying a list of conventional drugs made for it, they didn't help so we did our own research.

The specialist advised I take anti depressants, then explained the suicide, homicide, and depression. Our research had allowed us to stumble on a natural plant that has been used for thousands of years for insomnia. (Part1)

Antideprestants are the cause. All you people saying that it's not need to look this shit up. These companys are sick and need to be shut down and be put in jail. This stuf isn't helping depression it's causing depression. They are paying and lying there ways into to our homes.

It's not the meds. The effect causing the need for the antidepressants causes the violence. Have you ever been constantly tormented by your peers unable to do anything about it? Their zero-tolerance policies are based on weapons. They need to be based on bullying. Any bully is expelled at the first offense. This is what is causing the shootings, not meds or weapons.
