great clip mate!

Ringo dropped his sticks twice. Shorrock got the words wrong. I remember this show from the Parkinson In Australia series. Ringo was wired in the interview

How great to see Ringo playing the drums......and Glenn Shorrock had the voice -- but this song did not do Glenn justice -- he did better in songs where we could hear the beauty of his voice.....
-
How great to see Ringo playing the drums like that -- he was something, wasn't he? And, Glenn- had THE voice --
-

2 drummers that is so lame

I don't get the duo drum sets...the guy in the background is simply there to make Ringo sound good...
From The Smokin' Crawdads' webpage re Kirk Lorange: "He also toured with the short-lived Glenn Shorrock Band, the highlight being an impromptu Honey, Dont with Ringo Starr on the Parkinson show."
So there you go.

Great post, what a rare piece of music, apart from Glenn Shorrock and Ringo I believe that Kirk Lorange is responsible for the great slide work.

Now you mention it - I couldn't figure out what Shorrock says before that solo but he says it's a "guitar solo by Kirk". :) So Kirk Lorange it is!
