Glenn Shorrock & Ringo Starr : Honey Don't

Glenn Shorrock (Little River Band, Axiom, Twilights etc) joins with Ringo Starr on Michael Parkinson's Australian TV show c.1982. Band includes Mario Millo on guitar - is that Alan Mansfield on keyboards? A very rare performance; Shorrock & Starr never recorded together officially.

Ringo's final comment is cut a little short - he asks "did we pass the audition?" :)

Now you mention it - I couldn't figure out what Shorrock says before that solo but he says it's a "guitar solo by Kirk". :) So Kirk Lorange it is!

Ringo dropped his sticks twice. Shorrock got the words wrong. I remember this show from the Parkinson In Australia series. Ringo was wired in the interview

How great to see Ringo playing the drums......and Glenn Shorrock had the voice -- but this song did not do Glenn justice -- he did better in songs where we could hear the beauty of his voice.....
