  • wow, very good animation, i actually feel really bad using more modern methods and i still cant get over the fact that you spent 10 years making this...that shows a lot of dedication!!!!! just to think what you could do with the more modern soft-wares out there, keep working!!!

  • dont feel bad, we all work with the tools at hand (and money) but thanks. Worth the effort when people enjoy and appreciate the effort.

  • Great work on the video. But this just adds to the critisism of the vets of that war, not all of them were baby killers. Alot of good men died in that war, they fought the enemy, but there were the few who did do the bad things, but most were just regular soldiers. And the ones who did snap and killed civilians, they probably seen their buddy die, how would you feel every day seeing your best buddies getting shot up, you would feel sadness and hatred. Those feelings would do alot to you.

  • I understand and this is only one story not taking sides or trying to cover each and every angle (that would be far to complex in any medium). It's a story, like a movie. It may get some stuff wrong and other stuff right. But there are numerous sides to very story. When stories concern combat and death, this gets even more complex.I read a book regarding the my lai massacre which also lead me to wounded knee and other events.

  • 10 years! you have alot of patience.

  • understood

  • Fortunate enough to have only read books regarding the subject. So no I have never served as my country has not be at war during my life time.

My knowledge of war is based on other people's accounts from the time and events only.

This is a part 2 animation. Part 1 was concerned with the civilians, part 2 a soldier.

It was not meant to offend or point fingers. To to tell a story after reading a book regarding My lai and the people that died there.

  • My friend, have you been subjected to active duty?..do you know what is war?....or do you only look at movies?

  • Having made a bunch of cliched and badly-drawn cartoons using Deluxe Paint Animation in the early 90s, I have to say that this is exceptionally well made and has a really good story to it. I can't even begin to imagine how hard it must have been to animate some of those shots given how basic DPA is in some respects.

    Great job!

  • Nice, well done.

  • awesome!!
