My Life Update 12/19/09

One nice thing about this place is the fast internet. 15 minute upload!

I could've made a Project for Awesome entry about some Alzheimer's charity, but I generally don't give to medical research, even though it affects me. There are corporate interests with a ton of money funding the majority of medical research, especially on common diseases like Alzheimer's; and then NIH government money makes a very big contribution to research as well. If you're going to give, I say give to a cause that big business doesn't have a good reason to flood with their money, like world hunger, or AIDS prevention.

I can relate. My grandma has alzheimer's and I'm really the only family member that spends times with her so I'm there a lot. Stay strong, sir.
