The 500-foot structure near the Colorado River in Laughlin, Nevada came down as part of the coal-fired power plant's decommissioning process. The plant opened in 1971 and generated 1,580 megawatts of electricity, enough to power appliances in about 395,000 homes at once. It ceased operation in December 2005 after environmentalists sued over its pollution and it lost its fuel contract.

  • now are electricity is going to go up

  • Really wish the would of let the stack fall on top of the plant and crush that shit. It would of been more fitting for this place.

  • @mogstech Lets see you are 37 now, if that is in deed right. I was 18 at the time, im wondering, did you work in my team or were you Edison?

  • @bremstone I would if we had gutters.

  • @mogstech Enjoy being gutter trash

  • @bremstone LOL... wow...guess I struck a nerd..um nerve. No I dont know it all. Just know a jackass when I see one. Enjoy your electric lights.

  • @mogstech Don't fucking kid yourself, yea an apartment, so whats it to you? You don't pay my bills so please keep your gutter trash trap shut, you don't know me and I don't know you, keep living the fantasy that you wish to believe to be fact. From the sounds of you, you worked there for a long time, so i'm guessing you think you know it all, like any other gutter trash that came from there, not all of them were such but you aren't making them look any better. Keep it coming gutter trash.

  • @mogstech You mean someone that didnt take bullshit from anyone then yes I was a slacker, I don't know which drone this is but don't kid yourself they treated there people like fucking ass. I highly doubt we know one another, if so then you knew I did my job no questions asked.

  • @bremstone thats because you were a slaker...I remember you...you never did your job...just another screw off taking a paycheck you didn't deserve...glad you left

  • I'll miss the pretty white clouds it used to put out. and being able to see the stack from almost anywhere in the area so you could always find your way home.

Good bye Mohave Generating Plant, you will be missed!!

    XOXO
