@ecke70 I've always found that keeping some bean mass in the hopper prevented 'breaks' in the ground coffee that's discharged from the chute.
-
Please explain how filling the hopper would affect the chute in any way? Seeing how the weight of the beans are carried by the construction and not by the ground coffee below the burrs, I can't really follow your logic.
-
Ground coffee wouldn't get stuck in the exit if you just kept your hopper at least 1/4 full.

wow tape over the screw holes inside, no shoot, with a paper funnel, sitting in a cardboard box and then sticking something metal near the burrs. funny one simple grinder brush would solve every one of these problems, except of course the cardboard box and the moron using it.

Moron!

hope you ran out of beans , why stick a piece of metal in your machine , does it take you that long every coffee , good looking kitchen with bloody ugly box under such good machine , PROBLEMS.
-
wow... REALLY bad idea
-
Decent idea, REALLY bad execution!
Never ever put anything in the burrs while they're running! Best case scenario you'll destroy them, worst case scenario you lose a finger or two.
Mark and Scrumpy, Rocky makes that sounds sometimes when you attach a PF to it, it's the vibration.
And lastly, since I'm done complaining, did it help with the clumping? :-)
Ugh. Sticking that piece of metal in whilst the burrs are churning - BAD IDEA.
