The way he said "I thank god my dream came true," sort of reminded me of the way Will Ferrell said "I let Sam down, my own son!" in Kicking and Screaming. I was expecting Mike Ditka to come out of nowhere and slap Schmidt like he did Ferrell and scream "CUT IT OUT!! QUIT CRYING!!" (you'd have to see Kicking and Screaming to understand) hahaha! :P
