Deception Pass is a strait separating Whidbey Island from Fidalgo Island, in the northwest part of the U.S. state of Washington. It connects Skagit Bay, part of Puget Sound, with the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

  • I placed my mom's cremations under the bridge, it was beautiful and heart breaking. I think about her every day and every trip across the bridge, I think of her beautiful smile. The music is perfect !

  • @nwmissy88 It is a beautiful place indeed. This is not the original music that I had. YouTube made be switch to music that was not owned by a record company!

  • YouTube complained about the music I had because it was from a CD I owned. So, I had to ue one of theirs. Agree that the nusic is not good!

  • switched to Beethoven's ode to Joy!

  • I love it here.

  • In 1980, I walked to the Deception Pass Bridge from the Navy Air Base. Along the way I picked blackberries, fresh off the vine -- first time in my life --mmmmm. The experience on the bridge was amazing, with the wind blowing softly and the tide swirling through as it ebbed and flowed perpetually marking time passing until you realize you must leave it and return to the real world.

  • @nwmissy88 my condolences on your Mom. It is a beautiful place. Im sure she would have been happy about your choice. Have a nice day.

  • our first football game of the season was at S. whidbey... and it was scary as shit to cross that bridge lol but prolly one of the coolest things iv seen
